WALT use the correct structure and language for Recount Writing.

Fishing

On Saturday me and my mum and

my brother and my baby brother

and my uncle went to Opononi

and we got our fishing rods out of the car.

We went to the beach to do some fishing.

I was excited to be at the beach with my family.

My mum caught a little fish.

I was happy for my mum.

But my mum put the fish back into the sea.

When I got my fish it was like a snapper.

I was happy that I got a fish.

When my brother got his fish, it was long fish.

I was so happy for him.

When my uncle got his, it was not a fish it was a squid.

I was happy for him too.

We had an amazing day at the beach.
